At HDC’S Hebrew High

Hebrew High is an afterschool Hebrew language program for students in grades 9-12. Students learn to read, write and speak in Hebrew, and receive foreign language credits, which can be used towards the foreign language requirement. Our program consists of a comprehensive curriculum which fosters intellectual as well as spiritual growth, as students not only learn the language, but also the traditions, values, and history essential to their Jewish identities.

Hebrew High meets every Monday-Thursday from 5 PM-9 PM

Lessons Plans

Students are placed in tracks according to their language level. Each track has a set lesson plan in order to ensure that their receive courses to enhance their knowledge of Jewish history and be confident enough to advocate for Israel
