HDC’s Morasha Academy

The Morasha Academy preschool creates an interactive learning environment for students, through experiential learning opportunities that encourage children to explore, challenge themselves and develop a fundamental connection to their Jewish identities.

What We Offer

Our Early Childhood Program

Teacher Directed Learning

Our dedicated staff create an accepting, warm, encouraging and stimulating environment for young students to thrive in. With each child’s best interest in mind, our teachers strive to inspire, challenge and help your child reach their potential

Weekly Shabbat Programming

Each week students engage in traditional Shabbat services and programming, joined by parents, which teaches a deeper understanding of Jewish values, the meaning of Shabbat and the importance of incorporating Shabbat within your own home

Indoor/Outdoor Play Time

At Morasha Academy, we understand the necessity of allowing your child to explore their surroundings, engage with their peers and discover their interests. We encourage students to do so through free play, where students have access to a variety of educational, fun, and physically and mentally challenging games and activities.

Interactive Curriculum

Our hands-on programming incorporates experiential learning opportunities so students are exposed to a wide range of teaching and learning styles, and can develop a style unique to them. Our programming encourages creativity, self-expression and a connection to Judaism

I’ve been given the ability to have meaningful conversations with my family about Jewish religion and heritage because of what I learned at HDC’s Hebrew High. I’m so lucky to have been given this opportunity. Max F, 2015

HDC has given me the opportunity to explore Judaism in a way that I never thought I could. Coming to Hebrew High has helped me better understand my roots, why we practice certain traditions and how to be a better person overall. David Cole, 2015

I’m extremely thankful to Rabbi Louie and all the staff at Hebrew Discovery Center for everything they’ve done to help us advance our Jewish education. I did not know how to read, write or speak Hebrew and am now graduating with the ability to do so. Michelle H., 2016
